The Prophet: A Book Review

Written by Amanda Stevens, this is the third book in the Graveyard Queen series, and Amelia is back in Charleston and has a ghost that is more than a ghost who will not leave her alone until he helps her. And she may have a slight stalking problem when is comes to the mysterious detective, Devlin.

Again, I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. This novel had me on my toes trying to figure out where the mystery was going. The characters are developing, and I love the addition of new characters in every novel.

In some ways, this series reminds me of A Game of Ice and Fire series, in the way the characters change but their motivations, while somewhat fluid, are always rooted and if they change you understand why. The characters are really what makes this series.

Again, I highly recommend this series to anyone and, almost, everyone! Again, if you HATE any romance, like, any, don’t read this series.

Can we just talk, for a second, about  how horrible Devlin’s wife was and the fact that the kid isn’t his? Just for a second?

When Amelia described what the little girl looked like, I honestly had my suspicions. And once we found out the relationship between the ghost cop and his wife, it really does make sense. But, at the same time, WHY JOHN, WHY? Why would you go for a woman like your wife?

On the other hand, why do any of us go for people who just aren’t good for us?
