As the Fourth approaches, so begins the weekend of the Fourth. In the past I have attended fireworks shows, independence themed food abound, or spent the day at the house, also with independence themed food abound. Last year I was fortunate enough to be able to go to a town that allows fireworks within city limits.
If you are not fearful of fireworks, this is one of the best things to do on a summer night. Driving through the town we had to avoid people, of all ages, choosing to shoot off their fountains in the middle of the street. Laying on the grass, watching everything from roman candles and fountains to the packs going off.
This 4th will be spent at a neighbor’s party, and will likely not include fireworks.
That’s alright, some themed food will still be nice.
