Yes, you must watch this either dubbed or with subtitles.
With that said, I think I have fallen in love with this movie. Following the traditional version of Beauty and the Beast, we see Belle with her 5 brothers and sisters with a father who is a wealthy merchant who loses all of his ships.
The family is forced to movie to the country, when they hear one of the ships has returned. The father and his oldest son go to get their fortunes back only to learn that the ship and its cargo no longer belong to them. On the way back, without his son, the father becomes lost, his horse injured, and wanders to the beast’s castle.
An excellent movie, it reminds me of something from the late 80s in style with modern special effects. There is a lovely twist on the story that I have never seen before that was wonderful.
