Have you ever heard of Interesting Engineering?
Well, let me tell you about them.
I found this site while hunting for a news site that focused on engineering/was from an engineering perspective. Then I found this site. I followed them, seeing that they clearly should focus on engineering.
This site has the worst grammar/editing I have ever seen on a news site.
It is gimmicky and so full of ads it makes my head hurt.
And the articles never tell you any real information. Okay, maybe they might be enough for people who aren’t interested in the technical side of things. BUT THIS IS INTERESTING ENGINEERING, I want to know the engineering behind this place.
But instead, we get literary and editing folks who aren’t even good at editing and are only writing the stories from a very high level. Only part of their staff have any engineering background.
AND THEY DON’T HAVE ALL THE ENGINEERING REPRESENTED. Or even part.
These should include:
Chemical
Mechanical
Electrical
Geological
Petrolum
Industrial
and a few others.
I WANT A NEWS SITE ACTUALLY WRITTEN BY ENGINEERS THAT IS ALSO ENJOYABLE.
I know, this is a lot to ask for. We are busy people. Just look at this site- I have to work really hard just to get this little posts out kind-of consistently.
