Crooked House: A Movie Review

And here, we have another film I picked because it was new to the library.

And the library didn’t disappoint.

Following a family whose head, the grandfather, just passed, an outside private detective has been brought in to figure out which family member is to blame for his death.

This is a well done, very British film that I think did a great job of unfolding the mystery.

Why should you watch it (or who should)? Set in the 1950s, the setting is beautiful, the cinematography is powerful, the acting is top notch, the writing witty, and it is a good mystery.

But it might not have enough action for some. I can admit that. But it was a good film.
