Wildfire: A Book Review

The third novel in the Hidden Legacy series, Wildfire picks up right after the epilogue in White Hot, so on Christmas day Rogan and Nevada are back in Houston because Nevada’s grandmother (the bad one) tried to buy her mortgage. Also, the ex-fiance that was met in the last book, her husband has been kidnapped and no one will help her. This is the same ex-fiance whose mother was killed in the last novel. And we now have the animal mage as a full time employee.

This novel is just as wonderful, with the bonus of a full on war scene, as the last two novels, and again is very consistent. We finally really get to see both of the younger sister’s powers (they are amazing), and have so much action, and I’m annoyed at Rogan for leaving Nevada alone when he said he wouldn’t be leaving her side ever again.

Here is what I don’t like, SPOILER WARNING, I really hate the fact that this is the last book in the main book timeline (honestly, I read the next book in the series but won’t be doing a review on it). We never find out who Ceasar is.

But I like that they are together. I like the ending of this trilogy. I would love to see more one-offs with them, particularly how Rogan handles much smaller threats, and to see if maybe Nevada can disappear into the background again and just run her business.

If you enjoyed the last two, let’s be real, you are going to read this and you are going to enjoy it. So, just enjoy it.
