Written by Jasmine Guillory, The Wedding Date follows Drew, a man who finds himself as a groomsmen in his Ex’s wedding, and Alexa, the woman who was stuck with him in an elevator and now finds herself as his date to the wedding.
This novel is so well written, and I loved how quick witted and smart the characters are. This is a book that is character driven, and wonderfully modern. And very much a romance that doesn’t shy away from the imperfections we all have, and that people do things in the past that they regret.
I think this was a great read, and if you are looking for something well written with an interesting romance premise, this is a good place to go. If you are wanting action and adventure…. probably keep looking.
