Written by E. E. Knight, the Novice Dragoneer follows, you guessed it, a new Dragoneer – someone who works with Dragons across the realm. Ileth, our main character, grew up in an orphanage, but when she was young a Dragoneer left an impression on her, and after word she would do anything to join their ranks.
Even if it means sitting outside their door for days, because she missed recruitment.
I really enjoyed this novel, the supporting characters are well fleshed out, the writing draws you into the story, and I really liked Ileth. So, so so much.
If you enjoy dragon stories, enjoy adventure and coming of age, with some lies looped into the story, this is something you should give a shot. If you are looking for a romance, then keep moving.
