Fate Promised: A Book Review

Fate Promised by Jocelyn Montana is the second book, after Fate Awakened, and follows another werewolf from the pact, this time Juri. Sweet, sweet Juri.

This novel had a lot more action – think a touch of sea adventure and some more unexpected monsters – and was overall well written and I enjoyed Juri and Triska, but honestly… I liked the first book more.

Fate Promised was interesting and well written, and took a different approach to creating the relationship between the main characters – they already knew each other from childhood – and it did scratch the itch for another book from this author.

You don’t need to have read the first book – according to Goodreads this is a stand-alone – and I think I would almost say to read the first one second, and this one first so that you can jump into the adventure of this one and fall into what ends up being a more sweet story with the Fate Awakened afterward.

This is a SPICEY adult themed book, and while it doesn’t have the greatest number of spice scenes, it definitely still has them.

I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review.
