A Short History of Drunkeness: A Book Review

Written by Mark Forsyth, A Short History of Drunkeness is absolutely a delight of non-fiction reading.

Forsyth goes through prehistory, and then has everything divided by culture/area, which is something I really liked. It really lends to reading chunks of it at a time.

And does a wonderful job of filling in all the things that Film got wrong and some history teachers may have wanted to leave out.

This is hands down worth the read. And it is short. Just over 250 pages. And it has a bit on the wild west (the movies are so wrong), the Greeks, even the Russians.

Really a great history book that is written so I think most anyone would enjoy this. Humor is used throughout to keep the attention and also help with retention of the material. Highly recommend.
