Written by Bella Jacobs, this is a fun read that was the perfect (for me) first read of the new year!
Definitely spicy, adult themed, this book follows Blaire, a woman who found out she is half witch and someone (her twin sister) needs to marry a town elder to reinforce the veil on the town with their newly inherited house, and Darcy, a 200 year of vampire who unites with Blaire to prevent the wedding.
The romance went as one expected (not complaining) but I love a good witty banter and this did have some fun twists in the sub plots that I greatly enjoyed.
This is a (traditional human) monster romance. It has spice, it has fighting, it has drama. If you don’t like those things, keep going.
This is also the first in a series, and we will see if I keep going or not…
