First, I love Scott Eastwood in this film. He does a great job. That being said, for how good looking he is, he definitely ends up feeling much more subtle than his costar Britt Robertson. Most often seen on the TV screen, her character is a modern sorority girl. Makes for an interesting comparison between the two personality types.
Can we also point out the fact that Scott was acting for years before this movie was made?
Classic Sparks style, this movie takes us on a journey with two different couples who can relate to each other despite being in two different time periods. Though, why do you always go back in time for your love stories? What makes the past so much better?
Not my favorite, but well done, and more understanding than a lot of the other sparks movie – even if not everyone can have a bull-rider.
Overall, would recommend.
