This book is by Amanda Hocking and is the second book in her Water Song series about mermaids.

I don’t know why I got this book.

Oh yeah, I wanted to find out what happened with Harper and Daniel. That is also the only, ONLY reason I kind of want to read the last two books in the Water Song series. Sincerely, this series is only okay. It isn’t bad, the writing is decent, other than at times having to state who is talking when there are only two people in the conversation and this isn’t a play, it is decent.

It is just that the pace of the story is a little odd, and just how the characters approach issues is odd. The last book did a better job of dealing with the characters reactions, but this one just… they all seemed a little off. A little too dramatic and/or unrealistic.

Sorry, just, didn’t enjoy this book. If the other two are bought by my library for a digital copy, may grab them. May also grab a physical copy once I get through my current library books to finish the series. We will see.
