Hidden Bodies: A Book Review

Written by Caroline Kepnes, Hidden Bodies picks up where You left off. Joe is now single, and has found a new love and starts up a relationship.

But this girl is different. She is off the grid. She works with him. He never finds anything on her phone, as she uses burner phones all the time. And she screws him over and runs away.

Joe finds himself in L.A., where he constantly goes back and forth as to if he likes the west coast or not. And he keeps missing the girl. He kills a man for lying about dating said girl. Okay, there is a bit more death in this one. And the girl doesn’t mind.

This book in a lot of ways was better than the first because the pace was fast. Super fast. Which was good because a lot more happened in this book. And this book was a *bit* more far flung than the first, but that just added to it.

Joe is twisted. Joe will likely always be twisted. Don’t go into this book thinking he will somehow redeem himself. He isn’t. He won’t. He has a lot of problems. A lot.

But, if you enjoyed the first book (click here to see the review of that one, and here to pick up the first book), READ THIS BOOK! Seriously, read it.

And no, I don’t think the second series is going to follow this book at all, given that the TV show had a VERY different ending than the start of this book.
