Roomies: A First Impression

So, I got the chance to read the first 4 chapters of Roomies by Christina Lauren, and after finishing the last page I immediately went and put a hold on this book at my local library.

This is the exact style of sweet, funny, romantic literature I have been looking for. A great read for the weather starting to turn nice, this novel is about Holland, a girl who is saved by a street musician Calvin when a drunk pushes her onto the subway train line. (I should mention, Mr. Calvin is Irish.)

I didn’t get a whole lot more information than that, but the writing style just moved you through and I love the characters we have met so far. And MUSIC, yes, please, give me a novel where the music plays some kind of a role.

I honestly think that, if you like sweet, funny, modern novels with romance, this should be a book you too read the first few chapters of and see if you want to give it a shot.
